Do you make the best baked goods in the UK? British Baker wants to hear from you!

In celebration of brilliant bread, we’re bringing Britain’s Best Loaf back for 2024 and, to help showcase the most sumptuous sweets, we’re also launching a brand-new competition – Britain’s Best Cake.

Both will take place at the UK Food & Drink Shows at the Birmingham NEC on 29 and 30 April 2024. The products will be judged live by a panel of industry experts, in which each cake or loaf will be carefully considered for its appearance, aroma, and taste to determine the category winners. From there, the winning items will go on to battle it out for the ultimate title of Britain’s Best Loaf or Britain’s Best Cake, respectively.

“We want to shine a spotlight on even more of the fantastic baked goods so are thrilled to be adding Britain’s Best Cake to our events portfolio,” said British Baker editor Amy North. “As well as kudos and glory, there are several benefits to be enjoyed from success in the competitions, including press coverage, marketing opportunities, new customers, and team recognition.”
