This new development means that the evaporator is now no longer within the fridge, but is set on top with the compressor, the company says. Not only does this give greater capacity within the fridge, but if a repair is required, it is now a very quick case of removing the top cassette and replacing with a new one.

Gastronorm fridges are available in a wide range of cabinet sizes, are CFC-free and feature reversible doors and removable shelves as standard.
