Belgian pastry manufacturer Pidy has unveiled assortment packs of its canapé products.
The assortment comprises of three of Pidy’s designs – Iris, Fluted Tartlet and Flower Cuppy – all suitable for both sweet and savoury creations.
Iris is made from a fonçage dough and shaped into a rustic, bite-sized cup; the Flower Cuppy is made from a crunchy baked dough in the shape of a flower; while the Fluted Tartlet features a traditional design and is made from a rolled, all-butter shortcrust pastry.
The products had previously only been available individually and Pidy said the assortment pack would offer customers more variety.
“Although canapés are small in size, they can have a big impact and we understand the importance of having quality, ready-to-fill products that can be utilised in different ways,” said Fabien Levet, commercial manager at Pidy UK.
Pidy recently promoted Levet to commercial manager from his previous position as national account manager – foodservice.
