Gluten- and wheat-free specialist Dr Schär UK, has teamed up with Health Village a new concept store from Lloyds Pharmacy. Its range of DS-gluten free and TRUfree products will be available in the new store, in order to offer more convenience for consumers buying gluten- and wheat-free foods.
Drive for Scotland
Biscuit manufacturer Paterson Arran has joined forces with VisitScotland’s Surprise Yourself campaign, to launch its first on-pack promotion. Featuring on every 380g box of Paterson’s Luxury Shortbread Fingers, the promotion will prompt consumers to enter a free prize draw, with the chance of winning a five-star break to the Isle of Arran in Scotland.
Contactless Greggs
Greggs is rolling out contactless payment technology across its stores, enabling customers to pay for transactions in less than a second. The project, which will be rolled out in phases to all stores, is a joint collaboration with Lloyds TSB Cardnet and point-of-sale hardware supplier Spire Payments.
Damage for Bako
Bakery wholesaler Bako Northern bore the brunt of the recent storms across part of the UK recently when the roof of a neighbouring building collapsed on 15 cars in its staff car park.
