British Baker is delighted to announce the finalists for this year’s Baking Industry Awards.

TV presenter and producer Esther Rantzen CBE will host the circus-themed black-tie event at the Park Lane Hilton, London, which takes place on Wednesday 8 September.

Rank Hovis marketing manager Sara Reid, one of the judges for the Craft Business Award, which the company sponsors, said it had received some interesting entries from companies that had not previously taken part. "We have seen some different and quirky businesses, which was really nice; it was good to see the spread of the craft around the country," she said.

This year’s awards will be attended by key players in the industry and it is a good opportunity to network. The evening begins with a drinks reception, followed by a three-course meal, entertainment, and the announcement of the Award winners.
