Obituary
Leonard Wadge, honorary life president of wholesaler Bako’s London and south east region died on Thursday, 11 May, 2006.
Mr Wadge was a past chairman and the first life president of London Bakers Buying Association (which became BAKO London). Chairman Stuart Earl said: “His contribution to the company and to the National Association of Master Bakers’ South Eastern Region was enormous. All his colleagues throughout the baking industry will sadly miss him.”
He added: “Len was a true gentleman, respected by everyone who had received his help and guidance. His dedication and his personal and polite manner will remain a vivid memory for everyone who knew him.”
