“Blended iced drinks can account for as much as 40% of a chain café bar’s sales in the hot summer months,” says Gary McGann, general manager of Espresso Warehouse (Glasgow, Scotland).

There are many products on the market that can create speciality blended fruit and coffee drinks that take the pain and expense out of buying and chopping fresh fruit for café bars, including scratch mix, powdered base mixes, liquid concentrates and ready-to-blend. The company supplies “everything but the coffee”.
