Pantheon Catering Equipment (part of Monarch Catering Equipment and Crompton Direct, Bolton, Lancashire) has added contact grills to its range of equipment. With a heated surface both above and below, cooking times for a wide range of food can be halved compared to open grilling, according to the company.
The grilling plates are heavy-duty and come with an easily removable fat drip tray to help with cleaning. The heating elements have been designed with energy efficiency in mind, says the firm.
