Lola’s Cupcakes will mark its 10th anniversary with a series of in-store events next month.

On 15August Lola’s Cupcakes will celebrate its 10th birthday with the re-opening of its refurbished Mayfair store in London – consumers are being encouraged to drop in for a cupcake between 12pm and 2pm.

There will be 10% off everything online from 1-8 August, with the code ‘lolasturns10’ at the checkout. Also, if customers have a birthday between 8 and 15August, they can drop into any Lola’s store to get a free cupcake.

On 15 August every Lola’s shop will have cake to share out, and there will be “extra surprises” at the flagship store in Mayfair.

Managing Director of Lola’s Cupcakes, Asher Budwig exclusively told British Baker: "It’s incredibly exciting to be turning 10 this year. From baking in a small bakery in Primrose Hill, we’ve come a long way but we’ve still kept our ethos for handcrafted, high quality cakes.

He added: "As we’ve grown, we’ve been able to develop more innovative flavours for our customers, and now we get the chance to celebrate our birthday with them."

In July last year Lola’s Cupcakes saw sales rise thanks to the relaunch of its website.
