A patisserie chef who has cooked for The Queen has struck out with her own brand and is to launch her own dessert range into Booths supermarket chain.

Charlotte Marrifield has also worked with other supermarkets and manufacturers, including Gü and Lily O’Brien’s, and has now created her own brand Undeniably Charlotte.

From next week, her desserts range will land in northern retailer Booths, where shoppers will be able to buy luxury domed cheesecakes. Available in raspberry and Madagascan vanilla with a central raspberry compôte or passion fruit with passion fruit curd, the cheesecakes are handmade and decorated.

Marrifield said: “I’ll never get tired of creating beautiful things for people to eat, but this time I’m no wallflower.

“I’ve always made desserts for other people and kept away from the limelight, but now this will be my name and my photo on the box.”

Marrifield was behind successful patisserie Sugar Therapy in Harrogate, as well as the world’s most expensive doughnut, Ireland’s biggest Easter egg and a Swarovski crystal skull wedding cake.
