Interest hovers around Ferrari's
Administrators say "a number of serious, interested parties" have come forward as potential buyers of Welsh bakery chain Ferrari's, which called in administrators on 18 December.
Cleary Foods, Ferrari's parent company, blamed "lower sales and higher costs" as it put the 60-shop chain and its Swansea-based wholesale sister business, Celtic Savouries, into administration.
Ann Clwyd, MP for the Cynon Valley, is working with ministers and officials from the Wales Office and the National Assembly to secure support to enable a buyer to be found for the Hirwaun-based company (see Friday Essay, pg 14).
