B&D caters to unique demand

Essex-based firm Bekaert & Dupont (West Thurrock) says it always has to find innovative ways to decorate cakes. Demand for something unique to complement the finished product is ever-growing, says the firm.
It constantly has to take a proactive approach, working with its sister company in Belgium, Ranson, to create exclusive decorations for all areas of the bakery and patisserie industry. “I am always surprised at the distance some patisseries will travel to get the special look,” says Bekaert & Dupont’s key accounts manager Chris Foreman.
