Warburtons launches April Fool’s loaf

Warburtons has turned an April Fool’s joke into a reality by launching All-Ends, a loaf comprising solely of the crusts of Toastie product.

In response to its social media following, the bread manufacturer has decided to launch the limited-edition loaf, after receiving more than 1,000 ‘Likes’ on its dedicated Facebook page and hundreds of comments.

The company’s biggest Facebook fans will have an exclusive chance to sample the product as a result.

Mark Simester, marketing director at Warburtons, said: “We had no idea that our spoof loaf would receive such an enthusiastic response, so we’re pleased to have baked limited editions for our most discerning crust lovers on Facebook.

“We’re always looking for ways in which we can be innovative and meet our customers’ needs – it’ll be interesting to see what feedback we get on the actual All-Ends Loaf once our fans have had the opportunity to sample it.”
