The award-winning cake designing business has created the half-day course to be conducted at its boutique bakery in Stratfield Saye. Participants will get the opportunity to make two varieties of gluten-free cakes using tailored recipes and specialist ingredients.
Jennifer Wong, creative director at CakeyPigg Originals, said: “At CakeyPigg Originals we offer wheat-, dairy- and gluten-free cakes alongside regular flour cakes. Lots of people cannot tell if a recipe is gluten-free, they just love the taste. All our cakes are beautifully hand-crafted and decorated, some just happen to be without gluten.”
Group courses will take place in July and October, or individuals can sign up to private lessons.
CakeyPigg won the Sponsors Choice award and received Highly Commended in the Most Beautifully Bespoke category at the Ice the Cake wedding cake awards last December.
