RenshawSugarpaste and marzipan products firm Renshaw has appointed a health and safety advisor to its team. Anita Parkinson joins the company with a varied career in healthy and safety, spanning many years. She has worked in the leisure sector, the retail sector and, more recently the food sector, with nearly six years at Huntapac Produce.Parkinson will work alongside factory manager David Harris and will be responsible for promoting safe working practices and providing information, instruction and training to staff on health and safety issues.Graham SuttonMuntons Malted IngredientsThe role of new product development technologist at Muntons Malted Ingredients has been filled by long-term employee Graham Sutton, who is charged with the development of new and improved products for liquid and dried malt extracts.Sutton joined Muntons in 1975 and his new position will make use of his 32 years of understanding the variety of malted ingredients made at the company's Stow- market plant. He is also tasked with developing a better relationship with the firm's customers by communicating with them on a more technical level.Joe TattersallBakesenseCakes and bread supplier Bakesense has appointed Joe Tattersall as managing director of the business. Tattersall has previously held senior positions in several major bakery businesses, including Inter Link, Northern Foods and Hazlewood Foods.Helen Curnock Beacon FoodsGraduate Helen Curnock has joined ingredients supplier Beacon Foods as a process technologist, working with food consultant Nellie Nichols on new product development. Curnock recently graduated with first class honours from Nottingham University.Terry O'DonoghueThe Burford CorpUS bakery equipment manufacturer The Burford Corp, based in Maysville, Oklahoma, has appointed Terry O'Donoghue as its UK sales manager.Based in the east of England, O'Donoghue will focus on increasing market awareness of the full Burford range, in particular the TCS-200 Tape bag closure system. He brings over 25 years of experience in equipment supply, primarily to the baking and food industry, to the role.Mike SmithClaricomPackaging code management (PCM) company Claricom has appointed Mike Smith as UK sales manager for the PCM business. The company's technology is claimed to remove human error in date and traceability coding operations to eliminate risk and ensure accuracy. With Claricom, Smith will be responsible for building the firm's reputation across a number of industries, including bakery
